Three Generations in Every Bite
Tonya’s Tasty Treats is rooted in family, tradition, and a love of homemade baking. My family’s roots trace back to Norway, and I come from generations of home cooks and bakers. Most of what I know began in the kitchen with my mom, who taught me to cook and bake and has been the biggest influence on me.
Over the years, I’ve also learned from many other family members and have been fortunate to collect recipes passed down through generations—from aunts, grandparents, great-grandparents, and other relatives. My mother-in-law has also shared her recipes, knowledge, and traditions with me. Each one has added a little something to the cook and baker I am today.
For years, I’ve been known among family and friends for always baking something good. What began as a way to share a little love with the people closest to me has grown into something I want to share with others.
Tonya’s Tasty Treats is my way of carrying those family recipes and traditions forward while creating a few traditions of my own—one homemade treat at a time. From my family’s kitchen to yours, everything is made with care, tradition, and a whole lot of love.
